About us
Uptimai arose from space research by our CEO Martin Kubíček during his doctoral studies at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland on hypersonic flows and space re-entry simulations. Further development was supported by the ESA-BIC incubator, which focuses on space technologies. With the help of our industry and academic partners, we designed our own state-of-the-art tools to be an easy-to-use solution to the day-to-day engineering problems of all industries.
Vision
Our long-term goal is to set a new standard for engineering simulations and data analysis. We strive to make simulations more realistic, faster and providing deeper insight into product development and to be able to extract the maximum information possible from the available data. To meet this goal, we develop innovative tools that together with our expertise allows to quickly and efficiently design innovative solutions.

Environment and low carbon economy contribution
While the results of our company do not directly impact public social life or aspects of culture at large, our company natively strives to reduce waste by enabling other companies design better products.
At the practical level, unless we are legally required to have physical copies, we strive to go completely paperless. This means signing all documents digitally, and also not asking for paper copies from our clients, suppliers or 3rd parties.
Waste-free future
Human activity is creating mountains of waste material that should be recycled or reused. We believe this has to stop.
We want to help create a waste-free future. We're cutting plastic waste by using no plastic and disposable materials in our products and day-to-day operations.
Remote work
Remote working reduces greenhouse gas emissions. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in 2019, transportation was the leading contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in the United States.
That is why it's our company policy to support this way of working for all contributors, suppliers and employees.
